Maggie Kay

I was proud to become a Charter Member of Julia's International Association of Conscious & Creative Writers.

After years of writing but not one book completed, I was struggling with conflicting book ideas, how to write proposals and succeed with publishers so I booked a Breakthrough coaching session with Julia.

As well as being massively affirming and confidence boosting, the session clarified which project to focus on first and enabled me to identify the essence of my unique message and orientate me in the market place.

Then in 2014, I was intuitively guided to spend my 50th birthday fund attending Julia’s first Conscious Writing Retreat.  What a treat of holistic deliciousness that was!  I took a quantum leap and my first book Diving for Pearls came into view.

Amazingly, I also won Julia’s Conscious Writing Scholarship and received six months of exceptional one-to-one mentoring. Those months proved to be a deeply challenging and rewarding rite of passage, and by the end of the year, the first draft of my book was finally complete.

I thank my lucky stars for Julia and after so many years of attempting it on my own, I truly wonder if my book would ever have been written, let alone published, without Julia’s superb support and expertise.
