How to Deliver an Authentic Media Message with Alan Stevens
11th February 2010
The media love spokespeople who are always available, say something interesting, and can be relied on not to 'oversell' their message. On top of that, if your message is authentic and clear, you will find yourself being invited back time and again onto radio and TV shows, and you will receive consistent, free, positive publicity.
Social media is a whole new world for many writers, and yet despite the difference in delivery, the same principles apply. Sharing good quality content and building relationships through a multitude of formats are guidelines for success which will lead to positive results for all concerned.
By the end of this interview, you will know how to:
- look and sound natural 'on air'
- ensure that you deliver your message authentically
- answer questions with confidence and clarify
- engage with appropriate social media opportunities
- build authentic relationships and a powerful platform
Alan Stevens is a PR expert, author and journalist, and has been both a TV presenter and expert interviewee.
