Today is a new beginning.
It is true that every day presents the opportunity for a new beginning of some kind.
Yet there are particular sets of circumstances when making a fresh start is especially relevant.
The new beginning for me on this first day of September relates to the launch of my blog as a new way to continue supporting writers and to share information and inspiration on topics I have a real passion for.
These include all aspects of creativity, writing, publishing, taking your message out to the marketplace, and perhaps most importantly of all, opening the way for you to find your true voice – on the page and in the world.
I have also recently been on a deeply transformative creative retreat and now it is time to reconnect fully with people and projects.
The new beginning here is the new level I have reached within myself as a result of taking some ‘time out’.
This has led to me having a whole new perspective on the next steps I have planned, including a major new project which I am about to start working on.
So what new beginning can you engage with right now?
Perhaps you could take this opportunity to renew your commitment to your writing and to yourself as a writer?
Or what about finally making a start on a piece of writing or promotional activity which you may have been thinking about for a while?
At the very least, with the right intention, you could choose to see this first day of September as an opportunity to shift your creative expression on to the next level – whatever that means for you.
